Lately I have been really enjoying the stoning effects of the level one, which in my opinion is not really a trip. I do about 1 gram of ground cubies mixed with OJ on a fairly empty stomach and I may drink some wine or smoke a bowl. I really get blasted by the shrooms; it’s a real nice head with no worries about how high I may get. It allows me to get high and still function in the world, doing everyday mundane tasks however enjoying doing them. No planning is required you don’t need to be in a good place like a park or with friends and your state of mind is not as important as if you were going for a level 3 trip. As a matter of fact if I’m feeling a bit bummed out the low dose usually gets me into a better state of mind.
Anyway, any other low dose fans out there!

You probably shouldn't use mushrooms, even on low doses, every-day... reason I'm saying this is becuase it will loose it's magick quik.
You might have been tempted otherwise becuase, hey, it's only 1 gram.

Tempting it is! And your right the logic is that it’s just a little bit I can do it all the time. But I have been able to resist temptation and stay at about 3-4 times a month.

I've done this kind of low-dose before too, about a gram the same or even less, not that often but sometimes as an aid to meditation or tai chi, which can be interesting to explore at this sort of threshold dose....puts you into that self-aware sort of groove...
but yeah, I imagine it will lose effect if you do this as a regular habit tho..... 
(whoops shoulda waited for that reply huh! 3-4 times a month sounds no problem  )

my first and only shroom trip was low dose and it was the best drugs experience ive ever had. Im gonna go for another low dose next time. then heaver. but might just go back to low dose after that

i'm definitely a fan of the low dose. i tripped a few times last year on 1g of dried or 10g of fresh cubensis. light experiences with just enough insanity - very enjoyable imo. however, don't expect a full-fledged trip at 1g, 'cause odds are you won't get it (if you are used to tripping). i usually won't dose more than once a month, probably averaging once every four months throughout my tripping career

I am not familiar with Malabars i have only used Stropharia Cubensis. I assume that they are more potent?

The mind develops a tolerance to psychedelics extremely quickly and there's often cross tolerance (e.g. tripping on acid will make you more tolerant to shrooms). So it would be hard to trip more than 2 days in a row I would think. Fortunately the tolerance goes away quickly too so I'm sure a few times a month is fine

I'm also a fan of the low dose, just enough to make everything wiggly. I especially like to take a small amount and work on making collages, which I like to have a sense of movement in them, and what better way to make pictures move, no? Just to get an objective opinion, though, I ask sober people and they have told me that the sense of movement carries through fairly well, which is what I am aiming for.

I just tried the whole low dose thing last night. I ate 1.5 grams dry and had a great time. Usually i eat between 3.5-6 grams and always have that intense trip but i really do have to say that i liked the low doser. It has been about 2 weeks since my last trip and that one i ate 6 grams and had a bad trip but it was still worth it. But last night was great. I was able to comprehend the world around me but i was in the best mood and mellow as hell. Good times.

not weird, i'd say i experienced a level 1 and even stepped into the level 2 rhelm for a while - although i don't like rating my trips by level, 'cause i find the system a little ambiguous. by "full-fledged" i would think about a trip with fairly intense visuals and lasting a good amount of time. for me, i'd take 1.6g+ to reach this threashold.

Whenever I've tripped it's always been a full trip. I've been thinking about doing the one gram thing but was wondering how long (based on your all's experiences) the effects will last. How long does 1-1.5g dry last you?

Sometimes for as much as 4-6 hours other times not as long it depends on several factors like how long between doses and how much you have in your stomach.

Totally agree, low dose highs are so friggin cool. I did about 1 gram of EQ's and went out to a dance club about a month ago. It was amazing, everything was beautiful, interesting and amazing, and got me in such a great mood, even though I still had a full level of conciousness, damn and those friggin strobe light were amazing, even saw multi coloured trails behind everything that moved, there's EQ for yah.
