Hello again everyone,
I was walking to my local shopping center today, and I happened to take a walk through some bush/forest to get there. We've experienced some heavy rain here lately, and the mushrooms have come out to play apparently. I found several different species on the way, and I was just seeking your help in identifying all of them.
First Find: Habitat: Front lawn of my street, near a telegraph pole Number Found: 3 Gills: Very Dark Black Cap: Brownish, wavy
Second Find: Habitat: Growing from under dry leaves, in the forest/bush Number Found: 2 Gills: Brownish Cap: White/Brown, HUGE 99% sure these aren't active, but they are fun to look at because they are gigantic lol.
Third Find: Habitat: Tree stump Number Found: Far too many to count Gills: Same colour as cap Cap: Brownish, wavy
I hope these are active because I have a lot of them lol.
Forth Find: Habitat: Growing from wood chip Number Found: 1 Gills: White/Brown Cap: White with blackish spot/lines
I think this one may be poisonous, just by looking at it.
Fifth Find: Habitat: Side of the street, growing in the grass Number Found: 1 Gills: Same color as cap Cap: Light Brown
Well that's all of them. To be honest I have no idea if any of these are active or not, as I am not an experienced hunter. Sorry about the picture quality, but any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks! John.

Well it's hard tell what any of those are. #1 has seen better days, but could be panaeolus or agaricus. #2 If the sporeprint is brown, probably agaricus. #3 looks like a grilled cheese sandwich. #4 and #5 no idea. No actives in there. You gotta get a better camera, or at least get spore prints off those mushies. Good seeing some aussie shrooms though. i'd love to go there some day.

Thanks for the response
Yeah, the camera is just a crappy cell phone camera. I'm saving for a proper digital camera at the moment, but I've yet to get one Sorry about that.
I am going to cultivate my own cubensis mushrooms in a few weeks, but I figured I'd pick these and see my luck. I didn't have high hopes at all though lol.
It's a great country mate, and you won't be disappointed if you get around to coming here

Couldn't agree more. Haven't been shroom hunting as of yet. Will soon though. Been getting a reasonable amount of rain recently.

1- is an agaricus or stropharia , not active or edible in this stage, there is some resemblence to cube but those bruise and grow in cow farms. 2- is an agaricus not familiar with the mushrooms of your area but may be edible if not stain yellow and have a bad chemical odor. 3-the fact that where too many to count, and in a stump. maybe think of armillarea a white spore print can confirm this. 4-agaricus or pluteus a spore print is the answer but more on agaricus this one look like not edible look for yellow stain and fool bleach odor.. 5- look like tubaria or galerina, spore prints are the answer to all you can id sometime with out it . all my best vibrations..
