No colonization after 2 weeks

I bought some pre steralized substrate jars online as well as 10ccs of golden teacher spores from the sporestore. Its been two weeks and I cant see any mycelium forming. Well... there are some spots with cloudy white blobs, but im not sure if they were there before or what. Should I keep waiting or should I assume there's something wrong with my substrate or spores? I've heard both good and bad things about the sporestore, but on my first grow (this is my second time) I ordered the amazon strain and had great results, so I stuck with them again. I believe the golden teachers are supposed to be a quick colonizer... Sorry Im rambling, Im just a little concerned Im going to have to buy more materials and start all over again!

White clouds are first signs of colonization. Make a mark, check back in a few days, has it grown larger? Then just be more patient. Cheers.

Pics always help to figure out what your 'blobs' are.
There could be a number of factors involved in your lack of growth.
Moisture - If your grain was too wet or has dried out, it will slow any colonization.
Air exchange - No gas exchange = no growth. Not likely a problem as you only need a tiny pathway for grain spawn.
Temperature - As a vaguely general rule, the colder the slower. Too hot will kill them as well.
Shaking your grain immediately after inoculation! - Believe it or not, the mycelia need to 'mate' after hatching from their endospores before they'll reproduce at any significant rate. If you shake the crap out of your grain immediately after inoculation it'll spread them all over and make it more difficult for this to occur in large numbers and they'll get off to a slow start. Sometimes it's a REAL slow start.
If you watch your moisture and wait patiently, they'll show up eventually. By 2 weeks any contams should have showed by now, so I think you're safe. Keep waiting.

Thanks guys. I will shake them now to see if it might help any. I have no real way to regulate the temperature, but I think theyre sitting at around 73 degrees F. I'll stay calm and not make any bad descisions. Peace

I've no experience with sporestore myself, but I do know that if you have too much water in your jars there can be bacterial infection. It smells pretty bad, you'd know right away if you opened a jar and took a little whiff.

i would ditch half the jars to make room for some SporeWorks
ive personally tested 6 spore vendors and ive had the best succes with sporeworks
oh yea dont mess with pre mixed sloutions & syringes , most everbody will dilute the shit out of it if there even real spores
so go with a print (thats the #1 rule in my mycological book) there best for microscopical observations

Hmmm. These jars smell pretty bad like smelly feet. But they've smelled that way ever since I recieved them (before knockin them up. Heres what theyre made up of... ~Organic Brown Rice Flour ~Medium Grained Vermiculite ~Worm Casings ~Filtered Water ~Bee Pollen Its dark in coloration and has always seemed somewhat damp. Should I complain to the seller or what?

they are are brf jars, you don't shake them at all. that's only for grains.
it just takes time, 2 weeks from multispore isn't very long. Just be patient.
