I get some weird but mostly positive emotional sensation when I listen to some (kind of cheesy I know) Enya. It is almost the same feeling I get when I am watching a movie with a really emotional part to it... I can't think of any examples right now... maybe the end of "Jerry Maguire"?

Anyway, I have come to know this powerful emotional response, although I'm always quick to supress it. It really does feel like songs that elicit this feeling do touch my "soul."

Music definetely effects the human spirit..no doubt about it.
I love to listen to some bach..nothing makes me feel more alive!

Oh my god, man I hope someone reads that. No one understands me because when I listen to music, I get SO INCREDIBLY happy that I'm sharing this form of universal communication that can make your hair stand up just by hearing it! I get goosebumps and the hairs stand up on my neck, i tingle, I love it. I love music!!

i get that feeling that you describe (for me its like a rush of euphoria ) usually when the song peaks

.i think it is also about communication and when your mind makes that connection with the music. it is a blissful sense of comfort
