Right on, DM. That should definitely be an option to think about anyway. I thought about that myself. I actually think that Ripple should take over "Shroomery Pics Vol. 5" in January of '09. But if Ripple's too busy to do it again, we should pass it on to someone else. Maybe we should pass it on to someone else each year? I nominate Kosmic Charlie for "Vol. 5" because of his great help with the soundboard versions for this edition.

I was as much to blame Ripple. I eliminated two of your contributions because it exceeded the just because those same songs had been on previous editions. It wasn't even the same versions, just the same songs. And then I let that one get by me. 
Yeah, and then I nominate Pillow for "Shroomery Pics Vol. 6 " in January of 2010.  Whoever guest hosts it should be able to set the stipulations for it. I like that. It would definitely be pretty different every year. Oh, but perhaps there should always be a few rules that everyone has to follow though. There should definitely be a 2 disk (160 minutes) maximum just so we don't use too much Shroomery server space and stuff. And I like the idea of everyone being able to contribute only one track, except for Ripple because he (and by "he", I mean "you") invented it.

Call me a non-purist, but Vol. 2 or whichever one is JGB is probably my favorite CD that I own.
I played the original that Ripple sent me so much that I wore the coating off the non-read side.
I love that record with a passion.

Likewise, that is my favorite Shroomery Pics as well.
That band still tours, and Stu Allen who covers Jerry's vocals and guitar gets it pretty damn near spot on. I caught 'em twice last month!

Yup..Last year, I saw Stu play 9 hours one day..3 hour sets/3 dif. bands....
Later this year,it's Workingmans Ed 2wice, JGB, Stu...and more....Can't wait for summer!!
Missed DSO this run, but what a line-up!!

I agree Pics two is my favorite and it was really my baby, the songs were all mine and Kosmic Charlie's for the most part although one or two may have come from others?

Hey Rip, just wanted to let you know I haven't forgot about that DVD. My burner is really crappin' out on me though so you may have to give a little while longer. Tried to burn it twice now, twice failed. Even regular audio CD's are having a hard time - not sure what the deal is but hopefully I'll figure it out soon...

I took about 60 minutes worth of footage at the Great American Music Hall (San Francisco) JGB show on January 19, 2008.
If my computer weren't bein' such a bloke, I'd've already uploaded a compressed quality copy to You Tube...
Hopefully my computer will be able to encode a copy for You Tube tonight while I sleep.

I got all the downloads going but i can't open vol.3 Says I downloaded files with data but then it pulls up 0.
