What type wood for flowhood??

I was wondering what kind of wood would one want to use to construct a laminar flowhood?? Would pressure-treated plywood work?? Thanks!!!

LOL. Straight grain 1/4 sawn oak from a 100 year old tree grown from the Govenors yard ................J/K

Any sturdy nonporoius type hardwood or even plywood will work fine. Hell, a big old sterio speaker box will work from a thrift store for $5.
