Oh just a couple assassinations of major political figures (Martin Luther King Jr, Robert Kennedy), Vietnam war in full swing (the Tet offensive), nationwide riots, etc, etc. Pretty boring year if you ask me.

Vietnam, civil rights, music, hippies, drugs...Oh, and I turned 11 years old and was soon to discover drugs and rock and roll myself,(but I don't think that will be on the show) Important year in history.

Don't forget Martin Luther King (specifically) and his impact/assassination or Lydon Johnson!
