what to do about the green?

My friend's casing had two little spots of green on it, without a doubt some mean contaminate. They were scooped out, and the rest of the casing scoured for similar areas, but luckily none were found.
What else can my friend do to help save his casings? Help me shroomery, you're my.. err.. his only hope.

Sorry but thats all you can do. You can try the bleach dunk tek but with a casing its hard and usually doesnt work agains the green. If you scooped it out wait about 2 days and if you dont see any more green or anything wierd then consider your casing saved....

Dont bother, throw it out. People need to understand that green mold spores are airborn. I dont see any reason to attempt to rescue anything with green.
