colder fruiting strain

so im thinking this is why it is taking me 3 weeks to see decent sized pins only on my bulk is because my temps in the room i use for fruiting are only between 60-65 throughout the day. im growing redboys.
my question is- is there a good strain that just thrives with a little bit cooler fruiting temp that would work out good for me?
turning the heat up in my house is just not an option right now.

Hawks web site says the tasmanian cube fruits and colonizes well with highs of 75 and lows of 45 at night. I think also says something like that for b+.

The strain you are looking for is Blue Meanie
They prefer much lower temperatures then other cubensis, incubate around 62-67f anything over 72f is thermo death speaking from a friends experience with this strain.
It's winter here and my buddy isn't experiencing any problems with fruiting, room temp is fine.

so ishould incubate them at 63-67? you didnt mean fruit at 63-67? because i usually incubate my strains in a closet in the low 80's and it always turns out great.

He's saying that that strain requires different operating temperatures. Cubes incubate well at 80F.

I'm wondering about that too but thrermo death is usual a problem durn incubation when temps are higher. If its during incubation I'm glad I haven't tried that strain before I'd be driving myself nuts.

B+ will fruit at those temperatures. Though in my experience it takes much longer to fruit. Also the flushes tended to be smaller.
What sort of FC do you have? I fixed my temperature problem by placing a very low-Watt, incandescent light bulb inside my FC. They are 94% inefficient which means they are mostly generating heat. With low wattage I wasn't using lots of energy i.e. I wasn't spending much in electricity. Some people will suggest a heat bomb to raise your FC temps too. I don't like them. They never generated enough heat for my liking.
Now some folks will tell you it's madness to place a heat source inside your fruiting chamber because you'll drop your RH. That's true. It does drop your RH but you can compensate for it. I added another humidifier so I was keeping my temperatures around 72 degrees F and my RH around 95-97%. So yes I was burning more energy with an extra humidifier. But it worked and that's what mattered to me.
In the next couple of weeks I'm going to try simply placing a light bulb beneath an RR style FC that will sit on a wire rack. I suspect I'll have to remove the light and re moisten the perlite every so often. OK so I have one more chore with that method. I'm game.
Getting back to your question, B+ will work at the lower temps but it works much better with a little more warmth. Thought you should know before you went off and bought them with visions of mega flushes fruiting in normal time frames.
