would someone new to casings have more luck with many smaller casings over fewer large ones? if contamination set in one, it wouldn't infect all of them, and it would also be easier to get more even pin sets. sound good? what's the advantage of larger casings?

larger casings offer a larger mycelial network with which to work, and often produce larger and more fruits. There is a point after which you may get dimunishing returns.
