...but seriously, when I saw the logo, I was just sure it was made up by some jerkoff like myself as some sort of a gag.

When I saw that sight my first hope was that it was a sick joke. Then I looked and saw the .mil extension and realized it was true. I literally exclaimed out loud 'Oh my!!'
This biometric stuff really scares me. I don't want my info in the biometric database, but there might not be any way to avoid it. They could require iris scans to get a doctor's exam, or go to school ,or get a job. And then they'de have everyone. I'm already in the system with my fingerprints though, I've been booked before... And I hate the fact that I'm in it that way.

One of the many vuage services of DARPA yet to be explained. The site has a very sneaky sinister feel.
They use lots of big words and broad terminoligy and don't explain anything.

I looked through their products/services, most of them involve complex computer systems that are only in the concept stage. In the computer industry, we call it 'Vapor Ware.'

Knowledge is power. I guess it all depends on what you want...to be dumb, fat and happy, or to be aware of your surroundings and able to do something about it.
IMHO, Ignorance is the antithesis of everything that's good in the universe. Wake up. Get Involved. At least TRY to make a difference. You can't tell me that this is the world you WANT to live in...
