Bottom Pinning on PF Cakes

Yes and I mean, quite literally, the bottom. When I came home last night (still very blazed) I was confused as hell when the only signs of life I could see after birthing over a week ago was a lonely dwarf cap, without a vail, peeking out from underneath a cake (I pulled this guy out this morning to avoid rotting).
After further examination, the bottom of that cake is infested with pinning activity. So here's my question: Would it be, a) beneficial, and b) safe, to flip the little guy? Or is there more suitable action I should take? (The cakes are resting on foil squares on top of a bed of perlite.)

Alright, sweet. Any other suggestions? Otherwise, I'm gonna go ahead and do that.

I'd leave them. They'll push out from the bottom. Often, water drains by gravity to the bottom of a cake. They pin there because that's the best environment, thus they took advantage. If you flip the cake, it might work or they might abort. If you do decide to flip the cake, place it in a saucer of water overnight and allow the cake to soak up some moisture. RR

Alrighty, looks like I'm leaving them then. Thanks for the advice though. I'll just give them a heavy misting while favoring the top.

Leave them be, this happened on a few of my cakes, they push there way. I got some pretty decent sized fruits from those cakes. As RR says its because the conditions is ideal for them there, humidity tends to be highest at the bottom.
