I would very much love one of those.

My dad owned a restaurant for 45 years.
At busy we'd go through a couple of hundred coffees a day.
As long as the water runs through a decalcifier the maintenance costs are very low. On the other hand, firing up the monster uses up quite a bit of electricity so it only gets turned on when a few guests are expected or we are feeling a bit special and want a real coffee.
Can't remember what the machine is, as it is back at my dad's now, but it was a spanish and italian made machine. Always is dot on pressure wise too.

I too have a espresso machine/coffee station. It's a Jura/Capresso C1000, I bought it a while back ($600) and it works great. As long as you decalcify and purge the system when it calls for it, it will last quite a long time. Capresso also has great customer service. when my grinder needed replacement they paid for the shipping and even provided the box in which to ship the entire machine. and when I got it back not only did they replace the grinder but they also replaced the water tank and the cover that goes over the beans for no extra charge. I guess sometimes it pays to invest in a quality product (btw this is the exact same machine Tony Hawk featured in his mtv cribs episode) 2 reasons why these type of machines are superior: 1 the grinder is a ceramic conical grinder which is the best 2 pressure brewing extracts all of the flavor of the beans without any of the bitterness because beleive it or not the water temp does not reach boiling also this type of brewing creates the "crema" that coffee afficiandos love and treasure, and no other brewing method other than mechanical pressure can achieve this.
