Shrooms changed my weed experience.

This is my first post, so greetings everyone.
I've done acid a few times about 5-7 years ago, but it wasn't until my recent journey into the natural variety that things started getting very intense.
My first few trips on shrooms were very fun. Unlike my trips with acid, these were very spiritual. Both my shroom partner and I had very intense and meaningful trips that were pretty life changing. I was glad that all of my trips to date were good ones, but then the bad one happened.
We went to a local park here in Los Angeles and we laid on the grass on top of a hill overlooking the city. It was really awesome. Then I could hear ambulance sirens in the distance and felt like I was dead. I tried to focus on the dancing grass, which always makes me laugh, but then my friend got up and said she had to leave. Things got much worse.
We laid back on the grass in a different area to see if that helped and we just looked up at the clear blue sky. I saw a bunch of flying colors and a lot of staircases leading up to the sky. Then those staircases were replaced with words, which were all thoughts I was having simultaneously. Then thoughts came rushing into my head at a rapid pace and I felt like I was going to explode. I got into the car and drove to my apartment but it got even worse. My friend kept telling me to put on music, then when I did she would tell me to turn it off. Then We got mad at each other and started throwing stuff. Then we went in circles. We would repeat the same actions over and over again forever. I felt like we were malfunctioning robots. All I could think about at this point was the number six. We then ate a brownie, went to eat sushi and then everything was better.
But here's my question: lately, whenever I eat brownies or smoke the more expensive weed, that same thought pattern comes back. Has this happened to anyone else? It's gotten really bad lately and I don't have anyone to really discuss these types of things with. Before, I had strong opinions about a lot of things, but now it seems as though I can see multiple angles of every opinion to the point where I can't make up my mind about anything and that the only thing that makes sense is that nothing makes sense. The only thing that makes me feel normal is the fact that I can depend on the sun and the moon to come up or down every day.
I also ask this because this has had a serious effect on my artwork. My artwork used to be simple, but now it's complex and random. I don't even think about what I draw, I just let my mind wander with a pen in my hand.
Anyway, I was just hoping someone had a similar experience or feels the same way. That would make me feel a bit better. My apologies for the lengthy first post.

Sounds pretty normal. Weed is a psychedelic, albeir not a very strong one. Your brain doesn't un-learn, so weed tends to become more psychedelic after you trip.

That's what I was thinking, too. It just sucks because I don't have as much fun when I smoke it. The whole point of smoking is to calm my already super-active imagination, but now it's done the opposite. I figure once I have another good trip to make me stop thinking about the last one, maybe my moods will change a bit.

Ugh, that's what I was afraid would happen. I've been smoking for half my life and would hate if that was ruined. Maybe I should just smoke less and just stay away from brownies period. Thanks for all your help.

I can take one hit of low grade herb, and be cagey, paranoid unable to make choices and just feel totally uncontrollable until it wears off, then I'm just exhausted later. I have talked with others about this same anomoly.

is it just me or the sub category of this thread (marijuana) is underlined and whenever you put your pointer on it an advertisement pops up what the hell is that?

It looks like the Shroomery is rolling out a targeted advertising scheme. I hate those -_-

Yeah weed is different for me after I started doing shrooms and salvia. Acid hasn't seemed to make it any "worse" though.
If you stop doing shrooms for several months and even lay off the weed it will go back to normal. Thats what I did (not intentionally just worked out that way) and weed was just like new again.
It doesn't really bother me though weed isn't quite as enjoyable but I'd rather have shrooms than weed anyway. If you concentrate and meditate on weed you can probably eliminate any negative changes to your weed experience. Mine did not change for the worse it just changed.
Try opium and weed together, I fricken love that. Can't do it a lot as opium is addictive but on occasion that makes weed and the high ten times better imo. No fuzzy headedness and great body buzz. And it tastes great.
But yeah if you just stop for a while it should go away. You may have to stop smoking too, I don't know how much that matters to you.
Like I said for me it was no problem to stop everything for a few months I was never that into weed but it can be a good time occasionally.
