Sclerotia Mexicana A production question

The mycelium was pretty uniform until now (~25 days later). I see this less dense area at the bottom.
CO2 buildup? Should I remove the foil, tip them over or something?
Suggestions are very welcome.

looks like they are getting there. if your going for sclerotia then you have alot of waiting to go through anyway. is there a filter on those? if not then flip. i would put them in a cabinet or closet and forget about them for a few months.

I don't like that distinct line across the bottom. It looks like two different growths and that's never good. With Mex A, you should see sclerotia forming right at full colonization, especially if you used coffee hydrated grains. I've had some pretty good harvests after 8 to 10 weeks. RR

i think there fine. they just grew faster in the midddle and that line on that one jar will disappear in a week. only time will tell. my bags always started producing sclerotia 2 weeks after full colonization. but they were large bags and i was shaking them good to make sure sclerotia wouldnt form till full colonization. otherwise sclerotia would form and you wouldnt want to shake them.

They're plugged with polyfill. i'll put the jars horizontally and see if anything happens.
You can see some sclerotia pressing against the glass on this picture:

Here is a closeup. The texture of the mycelium is pretty similar

I'm going to prepare some popcorn jars to see how well that works for sclerotia
