Quick suggestions for nasty taste!

I realize just how bitter cactus juice is.
I also realize that chasing it with orange juice is like drinking your own vomit!
Any suggestions? I'm slowly sipping with cranberry juice, and it seems to help.

I suggest you extract the mescaline and swallow it in a pill.

Boil what you've got down to one shot, then just take it fast, like a man...
It'll be over in a second, then you just have many many hours of fun.
I guess you probably already figured something out though.
Good luck and have a good trip.

The cranberry juice seems to help a lot. It's not so much the taste that causes the nausea, just the amount of liquid you have to drink.
The onset is very slow. I have an alcohol-like visual distortion. And MADtv is funnier than usual--and they're reruns I've seen before. That's about it for now. Keeping notes is difficult because I cannot concentrate, and I'm shivering from nervousness.

Dude, you control how much liquid you end up with when you concentrate the brew. You can boil most of the liquid off and end up with about a shot. Even big doses can be boiled down a lot.
Something to try next time maybe. It really helps with the almost impossible task of consuming the green brew.

Hey, do you just mix the chopped up fresh cactus with room temperature everclear? Is heat necessary, and do you just let the everclear evaporate afterward?

Well I took it in a shot glass, and drank a shot every five minutes or so. O yeah its a bad idea to try and finish off whatever is left mid trip
