I have some jars in the pics below. they are 12 days into it and where the mycelium started it is pulling away from the jars. I have noticed that there is water droplets on the side of the jar. is this fine? you cant see the water in the pics but they are doing great strong rhizomorphic growth everything looks healthy just concerned about the water thanks.[image] [/image]

I like to turn mine on their sides when they get water. That way its evenly dispersed on one side rather then on the smaller bottom.

Condensation isn't to much of a issue to worry about it just means there's a little to much moisture in your jar's and is only harmful if your pf mix is over saturated, sometimes it can lead to wet spot bacteria forming but isn't so much a issue in pf jars since rye contains excessive amounts of endospores but judging by that growth and time of colonization I'd say you did a amazing job. Good work, hoping to see the fruits off that myc.

If you have the dry verm barrier you can take the tape and foil off the jars and the condensation will slowly dissapear

It's normal. The mycelium produces a bit of heat as it grows, and this temperature differential causes condensation on the warm side. Since it's warmer in the jar than outside, the condensation forms inside the jar.
You can see this phenomena in reverse when you take a beer out of the refrigerator. The temperature differential causes condensation to form on the outside of the beer can, glass of ice tea, etc. RR
