This little guy made my day. HE looks like the CN tower in toronto
It was cloned to honey water, hopefully the update will be of a whole casing of these !!!
Would it be possible for the shroom to pass this trait along in normal reproduction?

Where does a mushroom get off trying to grow like that!? Where does it think it's going to stick the stem!?? Silly fungus...

Wow I didn't even know that was possible, that's badass.

You know it never ceases to amaze me the crazy ways some mushrooms come to be. I have seen some wild mutants, but that one takes the cake (no pun intended).

I remember a book in my library that showed about 50 good pics of all different types of mushy mutations. I saw this one in there and a ton of others equally as remarkable. But the subjact matter was of button mushrooms not cubes. I'll try to find the book and post it.
Cool pic, what are the odds. you gotta save that one to show your kids/grandkids.

Chances are that's a phenotypic mutation instead of a genotypic mutation, otherwise you'd probably have gotten more than one of those. The environment that particular pin was in probably caused the anomaly rather than the genetics, meaning that it's unlikely you'll get more like it by cloning it.
But hey, you can try! It's possible that the substrain is more prone to those anomalies, so you could get a higher number of mutants (10+ on a large casing instead of just one).

What do you figure on Malabar with an extremely wavy cap. I have seen three of them this batch, and I wanted to clone one and pull spores from one of those fruits and see if I can get it to continue to get another clone. These things look like a Psilo Cyan almost they are so wavy. Very cool looking for a cube, but I figured it might be enviromentally caused. Worth a shot?
