Sounds like the cakes are saying "Hey pal watch it! What the %$#& are you doing!" But I can't imagine they would stop from pinning.

Eh alcohol kills myc almost instantly, perhaps less in this case because it was only 70%. I have actually used this method to kill grows before. I'd say keep them around and see what happens but dont expect much. Tell him to label his spray bottles

just keep the cakes in there. Water as usual. They will recover. The pin on top might abort or grow with bruising. its nto abig deal. Dont trash the cakes without letting them try to make a come back

Load of rubbish. Alcohol works FASTER at 70% that at 90 or 100%. For alcohol to work as a sanitizer it has to be diluted in water and 70% is around the fastest acting (maybe not the most effective) concentration

The cakes will recover, they may stay blue for a while, probably until you dunk again and it might go away.
I accidently misted once with fabreeze (i use the bottles for misting, got 3, water, fabreeze, detol/water)

Slap him and take away the alcohol bottle because he obviously doesn't know how to label/read/check the liquid first.

HOLY FUCK!
We'll see if they recover twice.

Tell your friend to stop drinking the contents of that misting bottle.
Talk about tripping over the same stone twice, D'oh
PS: How about getting a permanent marker and drawing a skull and crossbones or a big ALCOHOL on it so he doesn't do it again.
