The BBC is good, if by good you mean "Don't criticise the government, not when they are paying our wages." The register and private eye are better.

Perhaps an independent reporter/blogger embedded in Iraq would be little less biased. There are also Iraqi bloggers on the net if you look for them: http://michaelyon.blogspot.com/

Michael Yon has been reporting from Iraq, both as a reader-sustained independent journalist and as a correspondent for The Weekly Standard. Mr. Yon’s daring-do style of reporting has brought him perilously close to death (like the time he had to break military rules and shoot his way out of an ambush while on a mission with the 1-24th Infantry Regiment of the 25th Infantry Division) and even closer to the truth about what is happening in Iraq. http://www.the-signal.com/?module=displaystory&story_id=51836&format=html

Interesting site.
I love his pictures.

> I'd like to hear what source Zappa thinks is unbiased
I can't speak for Zappa, but I don't think there is such a thing as an unbiased news source. FOX News, for example, is obviously pro-right when politics are concerned, but on other subjects they seem pretty neutral. Al Jazeera is very biased on Jewish topics, but can be surprisingly neutral on other subjects. The BBC has traditionally been fairly objective, but even their bias has been revealed recently (with respect to 9/11).

But honestly, Google News is a great reference as far as online news references go.

If you are left-wing anti-freedom Chinese communist then Google is great!
Google employees give almost all their campaign checks to Democrats, no other major Internet or computer company has tilted so far to the left... http://globaltechforum.eiu.com/index.asp?layout=rich_story&doc_id=8586&categoryid=&channelid=&search=lobbying
Google's motto is to "Do No Evil."
Are you aware that Google censors ads in America that are critical of the Chinese Communist government?
Google is Evil!
and fox news sucks dick (just a little less liberal than the other networks....)
Sadly I have never found a non-bias news source....
And please Madtowntripper save your

statements to yourself.

Google News doesn't write any of the content on their news site, its a search engine for news.
Get a clue.

aljezzera (sic) doesn't do that bad of a job reporting on world news while at the same time giving a pretty good idea of what it is people in the middle east think about world events.
if you want super edited, almost to the point of being lol funny, check out the official news agency of communist china.

They most definitely have their own bias, but not to the degree that one might think. They're basically the Middle Eastern CNN. I often go to them to get the Arab world's perspective on current events.

More like a CNN that wanted to see all Hawaiians killed and their existence removed from history. As far as Jews are concerned, Al Jazeera is a bit more extreme than even CNN.

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about.

From what I've seen, they're certainly biased against Israel, but I have not seen anything outright anti-Semitic from them.

Anyone with the last name DOLE had a stake in Hawaii's regime being wiped off the map before we took over. Not sure if they had anything to do with CNN
