Anyone tried this strain before? Ive found that Thai give me a very happy crazy trip then i get insightfully on the comedown, B+ have always given me a very philosophical trip just sitting in silence thinking. Mexicans have been very visual and trippy/confusing. I havent been able to sucessfully grow any hawaiians yet
I'm growing some A+ strain right now and they look quite unique as well.

I've only tried two strains so far - Mexicana and Hawaiian. And based on those two, I think that each strain is radically different from each other. During my trip on Hawaiian strain I was very much at ease - free flying through the sky i might say - and my visuals were as follow: A coffee table turned into a tropical island and brillaint ocean made of diamonds. I kept seeing multicolored 2-d geckos around in the air.
My experience with Mexicana strain was different. It was much more confounding and intense (even though it was a lower dosage). My visuals involved landscapes that resembled those in Mexico and Peru: the mountains, desserts, etc. Also a lot of geometrical patterns that one can see in Aztec, Incan and Mayan art and culture.
So, yes, I believe that each strain carries with it a particular "essence". I'm interested in trying more strains to discover what new things I can learn.

I used to think that different species have their own *essence*, which is somewhat true, but it is mostly a mental game. Your dosage, state of mind, and your setting are the most important factors in determining your trip. I have tripped on mushrooms approximately 40 times in the last 3 years and have had all kinds of experiences on various strains. Part of the effect is your expectation of what that strain will be like.
Also, the method of ingestion does affect the trip. Eating them fresh is an interesting, very natural feeling. Eating them dry is another. My preferred method is steeping them in tea. The tea helps ease nausea and because of the quick ingestion via liquid, and you get much more bang for your buck. Chopping them up into a glass of orange juice works well also, but does not help the nausea.
These different methods will give a different vibe to the trip. Try it out!
