Diskeeper Rocks

So I replaced the hard drive in my laptop and Diskeeper had a small problem with it; everything worked okay except that I-FAAST wouldn't run (that's their name for the technology which puts the most-used files on the fastest part of the disk). I sent them an e-mail and within an hour I got back a great personal response; no broken English, not condescending, it just explained what to do (stop the service, unhide protected operating system files, delete ifaast*.dat, volume*.dat and waitingqueue.dat, restart the service). I followed the directions and everything's fixed, simple as that. I'm just so used to waiting a week for a completely useless response from tech support that I thought this was really noteworthy. If you run Windows and need a good defragmenter, go with Diskeeper! And pay for it, don't pirate it. They really seem to be on top of things over there!

TA: I am thinking perhaps the computer is not plugged in.
Me: Dude, the computer is running, it just doesn't boot.
TA: Perhaps you could plug something else into the wall to see if the plug works.
Me: If I do that, the computer will turn off when I unplug it.
TA: Ah, your computer is running. I am very happy to have fixed your problem. Good day. Click.

Amazing that Winblows hasn't upgraded to a filesystem that doesn't need a defragger.
