I have a clave that sterilizes medical tools for chiropody and i know its not a pressure cooker it uses heat so my question is if anyone knows at what temperature and how long to cook the jars at and how long to cool.
Thanks

It probably uses dry heat and not live steam. I'd stick to BRF until you get a PC.

The typical cycle is 90 minutes or so at 15 PSI, which is 250F, or something like 120C. And cool 6 to 12 hours, just overnight.

Probably fine for sterilizing some things, but not jars. 90 minutes at least. Sorry!

Autoclaves are generally not suitable for substrates. I would not allow any grain substrate less than 1 hour at 15 psi, regardless of the size of the jar. You need to find a pressure cooker. RR
