 CIA and Drug Trade

I have been reading several books that seem to suggest the CIA aided financially several dangerous cartels in South American in an effort to destabilize the emergent socialist movement in the times of the Cuban revolution.
Could it be that for the same reasons the CIA had allowed an unholy amount of cocaine into the country to eradicate the flower-child culture from compromising the profitability of the greediest institutions in the United States?
Could it also be that the CIA plans to keep certain groups enslaved to drug trade within the United States, to maintain a reason for their drug policies, and of course, to keep their white male agenda in place. It is no secret that many African Americans in Baltimore have no choice, but to either sell crack, or starve. The poorest school systems in the country are composed of over 90% minority groups. Widening the gap between rich and poor seems to be the most effective way to initiate a feudal system in the western world. We have pretty much enslaved most of the third world (I recommend looking into Confessions of an Economic Hitman, by John Perkins.). Could the next step be to enslave the middle class by eliminating it completely?

Ok man, lets not let typical backlash to the notion that the government invented aids, the government wants to get everyone on crack, et cet. color the fact that, in my mind, it is an absolute fact that the CIA had a large hand in facilitating the influx of certain drugs from southamerica during the Reagan (I believe) administration.
No I don't believe this was to repress the black man... they simply needed the money and cooperation of those they were assisting, and this was a way to do it.

I am not blaming "the white man" for anything. I am saying I wouldn't be surprised if a group of traditionalists could not let go their xenophobic mentality and these people happened to have both power and money. It's not a race issue, it's a class issue. If you were born in the lowest-income bracket, chances are, you would be introduced to crack more times (and probably at a disgustingly young age) than someone born in the upper class bracket.

And it's public knowledge that the CIA uses it's fleet of aircraft to ship drugs to and from countries and is a self sufficient organisation. See how the majority of the public cares!

I don't believe the conspiracy theory that the CIA confiscates drugs just to sell them back on the street.
I wouldn't be suprised , though, if some individuals in the government tried to do it, whatever their three letter organization may be.. but I think it would just be a random isolated incident.

more importantly i think the question is this. Why are we still funding such a massive government cooperation such as the CIA that at best all the public can do is pick up the pieces after their "work". The CIA along with plenty of other government waste needs to be done away with.

I agree, and I think it's a heinous crime.
I should have had far easier access to crack growing up as an upper class kid.
the system failed me.

I grew up an upper MIDDLE class kid and new lots of lower UPPER class kids and we could always 100% of time get coke within 10 minutes.
Sometimes it took a day or two to get weed.

The CIA is likely the most criminal thug organization to ever exist. The entire war on drugs was created for the soul purpose of profiting off the inflated prices that obviously follow the illegal status of a product.
