WOW this movie is amazing! Really mind-blowing. Now that i got the superlatives out of the way i can give you synopsis.
Its a about a professor that gathers hes colleagues to his cabin in the woods for a goodbye gathering. There he poses a hypothetical question about the possibility of an immortal man that has lived for 14000 years. As the story unfolds we get to suspect that he is that man. His colleagues, all esteemed scholars or their respective fields, religion, anthropology, archeology, biology and psychology does their best to cut holes in his story.

i really like the movie, just the simplicity of the camera no crazy special effects, but yet still captivating.

Well its not a work of genius or anything and the actors may not be top notch but it is a great story telling piece with a really solid script. I loved it.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it wasn't the masterpiece that I've heard some refer to it as.

I saw this today (thanks for the suggestion) and I really enjoyed it. I agree it isnt the most mind blowing film I have ever seen but I always enjoy Character heavy movies. Movies where the characters make it not the special effects.

I saw this movie...it was ok really, but nothing special.
It was the idea that I liked the most.

I downloaded it and everything, but what media player do i need to play it? Whenever i open the containing folder and try to play it, windows opens up a search on the internet for a program that will be compatable with it and comes up with nothing (as usual).
What are you guys using to play it?

What did this particular movie make you think about? Things? Like, could there really be a 14,000 years old dude among us? He like exposed the whole Jesus affair. Its all so clear now. I mean - why couldnt it be real! GIVE ME ONE REASON!!! A short conversation with a random bum on the street makes me think about "things" more than this movie. I didn't mind the acting. It's the TV-series Star-Trek level script that was lame. But yeah, we're probably seeing this film from two completely different perspectives. Mad props to the team though for the attitude - http://torrentfreak.com/producer-thanks-pirates-for-stealing-his-film-071113/

I watched it and it wasn't too bad. Modern day Highlander without the sweet action scenes.
The only thing I hated was the soundtrack. The music at times really took away from the mood. The director supports the downloading of the movie so I'll keep watching for anything else he puts out.

I very much enjoyed this film. Never seen anything quite like it. Definitely not for everybody, but I imagine for some of ya Shoomerites this is right up your alley. There's no explosions or shoot outs, just a bunch of people sitting in a room talking. Would recommend.
