All those grains and potatoes are unhealthy. Be careful with that.

Save up 60 bucks and get yourself a 3/4 year's supply of Spirulina, the most nutritious, complete, efficient and effective food on Earth.

Take 1 or 2 pounds of ground beef and cook until slightly browned. Then add soy sauce and/or fish sauce. Cook for a little bit more and add some ground black pepper, ground red pepper, and salt. Cut up white or red onions very finely and mix them into the beef. Then squeeze half a lime over the beef and mix it. While cooking the beef, boil 2 or 3 cups of white rice. When both are done mix them together.
Ugh, I wish I could have some of this right now.

BTW, for cooking potatoes, try some McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger seasoning with some garlic powder. OMG. So good. Also, if you get those little grape tomatoes and cut em up into thin slices, then throw them in the oil for about the last 15 seconds of cooking it works out quite nicely.

Mix one can refried beans with one can corn. Stir frequently over medium heat.
Add cheese and salsa if you can afford it.

Vegetarian Chunky Bloody Flesh Eggs
Heat oil in small pan. Throw in little bits of tortilla(flour or corn) and fry in oil. Spoon some tomato sauce on the tortilla bits and watch it sizzle. Add one large egg per 1/2 flour tortilla or per 1 corn tortilla. Scramble in pan and add cheese and cilantro halfway through cooking.

I like to make a big ass pot of stew. Throw in a bunch of beans, rice, potatoes.. whatever Carrots, onions, garlic, celery, tomatoes, squash.. whatever veggies you like. Herbs and spices of your choice.. you can get creative throw whatever you like in a stew.
A big ass pot will last me for a week or more. And veggies are cheap as hell. Plenty of protein and whatnot if you mix rice and beans.

Spirulina is good shit. I could be wrong though but I'm pretty sure HEMP SEED is -the- most nutritious and complete food on Earth for human consumption.

Roasted garlic is killer in your hummus too. Smear that on some lightly toasted break with a glass of milk and you've got a freaking delicious meal

I recently tried grilled pb&j, and let me tell you, that is fucking delicious. I highly recommend it. Make it just like a grilled cheese only w/ pb&j instead of cheese.

so i looked this stuff up and it's algae commonly sold in pressed tablets, cakes, or powdered form. but i'm confused about how exactly one could use this as an actual food source and not just a dietary supplement.

Looking at a few of the suggestions maybe he thought a dietary supplement was a necessity?
A lot of the suggestions are good hearty foods full of vitamins and minerals.

Fun Fact: Spirulina is the primary food source for the Flamingo. It is also the source of the birds’ pink color.
Surely I don't recommend eating only spirulina unless you're fasting, but with its awesome nutrient density it sure does qualify as an actual food IMO.

i like to cook a lot of rice, stir fry beef (or cooked hamburger meat), and some scrambled eggs and throw it all in a bowl - it's really hearty, and you can make a lot of it with not much work or money. i also love brats, ramen sucks but it's cheap and easy, pbj with adams peanut butter is good stuff. i'm a big fan of stir fry and i just completely experiment with my own favorite foods for it, and ask for a little advice from ma once in a while.
now im hungry damnit

these are all great ideas, but finding the time to prepare the big weekly batches can be a bit difficult for me at times. working 25 hrs a week and being a full-time student trying to catch up on 2 months of doing nothing leave me with little time to actually prep meals like this.
i've been meaning to start doing this though. my dad has a vacuum sealer i can have, since he's gone too often to use it. so if i could just get into the habit of prepping big batches of stew, rice, stir fry, etc once a week i could vacuum pack individual plates of it and stick 'em in the freezer.
ohhh... maybe i can find some cheap metal plates/bowls somewhere so that i can put those vacuum sealed portions directly into the oven, without having to use the microwave or dirty more dishes.
okay, this is one of my new year's resolutions. i'm going to start doing stuff like this so i can eat healthy and stop eating out so much. should save tons of money.

You could get a slow cooker/crockpot.
Pile that shit in the slow cooker right before you go to bed.
