im looking for some good movies to watch
can't stand the cookie-cutter movies people seem to enjoy, hoping to find a few titles from people with similar tastes
fight club, the first matrix, and dark city and among my favorites

A Bittersweet Life - I love this movie so much
Alive (2002) - Worth to watch just for the visuals

judging by the three you posted, I assume you like more mainstream stuff. If you are into some arthouse movies, I can give a bunch titles that my cousin who is a director turned me on to that are great.

Lovin the Dark City, good times. If you like that, you'll probably get a lot out of the classics like...

and so on.
Looking at my recent movie list on Netflix, these were all good, so if you haven't seen'em, look'em up and see if you think you'd like'em.

God, there are so many movies out there to see, and a lot of the good ones you won't find at Blockbuster. I'm a chronic movie watching addict, so I went ahead and got Netflix. The "movies you might like" function is actually pretty decent, you might consider giving it a try, as I don't believe you need to pay to use it.

Best In Show - A funny 'mockumentary' following several neurotic dog-owners as they get ready for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
Requiem For A Dream - I assume you've at least heard about this movie.
Thirteen - A family melodrama invloving a few disturbed teens.

i watched a movie the other night called "the boys and girls guide to getting down" it's a little indie film about various LA hipsters partying. it's set up like a "how to" kind of film about going out, doing drugs, and getting laid. it's actually quite funny.

I don't think that movie ever claimed to be an accurate source of anything. However, I think its highly accurate on the religion and 9/11 parts, so we disagree.
