Winter in Canada
    #7708941 - 12/02/07 10:53 PM (16 years, 1 month ago)

There's been a crazy ice storm for the past two days. It's starting to get seriously out of hand. I've been stuck in my sisters apartment with minimal fresh air since yesterday. One of the cats is missing. He hasn't come home in almost 4 days.

I don't want to think that he's dead, but it getting hard not to. There is no way that he could survive out in this weather for so long.

I'm getting cabin fever. I'm all jittery.

Where exactly in Canada are you? I want to take a look on my globe. Do the meteorologists around there think it will pass soon?

We had snow overnight last night and waking up to it was just magical...I'm hoping for a very snow-filled winter.

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

I actually live on the northern outskirts of Toronto.

It's really, really icy out. They're actually telling people not to leave their houses unless they absoloutly have to.

Good luck with the kitty!   I would break down like a little girl if one of my mom's cats kicked the bucket.

I'm in Toronto but I haven't been outside today because I'm working so endlessly on exams and essays and shit. Didn't even know it was that bad out.

You should turn on the news or go outside or something.

yeah the weather has been really nasty the past few days
I shovelled tonight for at least an hour and it's been freezing rain all day/night, we've been getting a lot of snow and rain
hope your kitty is okay
I'm feeling the cabin fever too because I go for a walk every night and it's way too slippery to go for a walk
