Bruised or Mold? PICS

Alright, so today I noticed some blueish growth on my cakes. I tried the cotton swab test and nothing came off onto the swab. However, it just turned the cake a darker, almost navy blue. Heres a couple pics... is it bruising or mold? If either or, how do I solve it?

Bruising.
Either you cakes are too dry, or you are handling them too much.

Pint cakes often dry out at the top because water runs to the bottom by gravity. It's one of the reason that half pints are recommended for brf.
You can put a tablespoon or so of water into the divot on top of your cakes. When it soaks in, repeat until the cakes are hydrated. RR

It's impossible to exceed 100% humidity, so you need to calibrate your hygrometer. Wrap it up in a damp towel for an hour, and then unwrap and adjust the screw on the back so the dial reads 99%. RR

drill a hole in the top of that cake and stick a drinking straw in there and keep it full of water, your cake will thank you for it
-------------------- Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

Today I re-soaked and strained the perlite and put it back in the fruiting chamber. I also attempted to re-calibrate my hyrdometer, but now its stuck at 100%... so I think I'm just going to buy a new one.
I noticed my first pin today... its been 7 days after birthing, so let's hope some more come around!
