Help Growing

I'm growing some mushrooms for my first time, and I am at the stage ready to fruit them. They have been in the terrarium for about a week and have not seen any pins starting to form. I was wondering if this is normal to have to wait this long for pins to start.

Strain is Cambodian, Temp is about 82 F, Fluorescent lighting for about 2 hours a day. Not sure what you meant with the FAE

i havent grown anything yet, but i think you need to increase the light to 12 on 12 off, and drop the temp to 76f. fae is fresh air exchange.

Well my fae I only fan out the air once a day, Should I do it more? I'll also try 12 on 12 off see what happens, and try lowering the temp, guess for some reason I figured warmer would be better.

Ok. I actually dont have anything telling me the actual humidity. I may want to invest in something though.

No need to drop temperature to "cold shock" mycelia. Cubensis is a tropical species

The temp drop isnt nessesary but its still a little on the high side.
If he had a humidity gauge he would probably find that its not even 90% rh at that remperature, plus the contaminates like the highers temps, along with the non existant FAE.
Lower the temperature, it will be much easier to maintain a highe RH. Fan out at leaast 6 times a day. The more FAE the better, just watch out for RH dropping for to long. FAE is an important pinning trigger.
Up the light cycle to 12 on 12 off.

82 + 4 = 86 = Ideal (in theory I myself try and avoid going over 76)
But yes, FAE is your biggest issue.
Imagine in nature, the mycelium grows underground, and once it reaches the surface if gets all this fresh air and knows it has to fruit. In a closed Fruiting Chamber, the air doesn't get renewed unless you fan often, so the mycelia doesn't get fresh air once it gets to the surface and doesn'r know it's fruiting time.

I forgot to mention aswell that FAE also helps prevent contamination, as they like still stail air.
Soon im gonna be mouting a small fan on the lid to aid in more consistant FAE
