You know, that's not a bad idea, maybe i shouldn't worry about it! My room gets the hottest when the heater is on, so I could just have them there, then when they're ready to fruit, put them in a cooler room, yeah?

use a tit (tub n tub)for incubating jars....mine stays at a solid 80 with a 30-60 gallon fishtank heater on high.
as far as a fruiting chamber (FC) im not sure, im doing a few monotubs (they keep temp well without heater)
i would like to hear how to keep solid temps in a FC tho....i had troubles with it last year.
anyone.

An isolating heating fan next to a mini-greenhouse / martha is the best option you have.
I have found they I get no better colonization times with incubators without burning the substrate or giving contams a chance...

I use an oscillating (rotating) space heater and it keeps me right around 80F.

It is when you put a fan on a agar dish and take a piece from the best fan blade

i just use a heater that shuts off according to temp. What i did was i turned it to a point that i thought was reasonable then i monitored the high and low temps to see what it was sitting at because the heater i have is kinda cheap so it doesnt have the temp on it. so once it stabilizes between like 75-76 low or so and about 78-80 high youre good. mind u this is done in a closet and works for all spawn runs and jar colonization. for fruiting clearly youll need to move to a different area, which is ok because when fruiting you drop temps up to 10 degrees so at that point just keep it reasonable in your room or house and youre golden.

Cubensis need pretty radical temps to present a problem... In most cases fruiting at room temp. is fine. Even colonizing at this temp is ok, but be prepared for a bit slower mycelium progress.

Ya know, this is going to sound paranoid but I only grow in the winter because if there's 500 or so watts always on, they assume it's a heater.

They read your internet posts.
Also you can unplug your fridge at the same time as turning the heater on!
Its the supper stealth secret.
