Alright, there was a bit of problems befor with moving and stuff so therefor i had to birth my cakes only at 70%. I removed all the uncolonized peices. I put the cake in my fc and it gave an alright first flush. So then after it. I gave it 2 days to rest and dunk n rolled it for 18 hours. Its been 7 days since i put it back in the fc from a dunk n roll.... just wondering if i did somthing wrong?

yeah, you birthed the cakes early for no reason. Please explain why moving would make you have to birth the cakes. It seems that transporting a bunch of jars with cakes in them would be better/safer then transporting jars and cakes that are possibly pinning and in an fc.

The only warm spots i have in my room is my computer desk (under it stays at 84-88). And i was redoing and moving my stuff out of my room. And my family is very observent and i couldnt put it anywhere else or they would of noticed. So i had to birth and hide it so it could stay at room temp. If i didnt birth it. It would never of grew or would of taken months at like 69-80 (my normal room temp)

Thats not right, i have incubated at 70F before and its definatly not taken months.
The highest temps you want for incubation is 80F, many growers will tell you room temperatuer is fine.
Your room temperature is probably more optimal that computer desk as 84 is too hot.
Your not going have drastic slow downs in growth unless you go below 70F

As long as all most of the uncolinised substrate has been removed, the myc will be able continue colinising the VERY SMALL bits left and then fruit.
This is usually suggested when a jar stalls, so you done it for the wrong reasons.
It should be fine, the yeilds wil be somewhat smaller, but its better than having nothing at all.
I think i know where you got confused, you dint think that if you moved it from incubating temps to fruiting temps while in the jar it might start fruitng because of the temp drop???
Alot of the teks, and the strains mention temp drops when fruiting, but it doesnt seem to matter, alot of people have incubated and fruited at room temp.

You birthed too early, you shuffled and jostled them around moving them, you expecting results pretty much the next day...So yes. You may have done something wrong .

Let me put it this way: Even if RR himself came onto this thread and commanded "Let there be shrooms!!", would it make it so for your cakes? . Growing mushrooms is not chemistry or physics but a mixture of a lot of different sciences combined with luck. If your cakes aren't contaminating, you have enough FAE, light, and RH and they still aren't growing I say leave em till they contam or until you want to dunk them again. Some people claim cold shocking works but most of the old timers say that cubensis being a tropical strain does not appreciate this.
If you're doing everything right and still not getting results noone can force your cakes to grow. Sorry.

you guys big deal the whole temperature thing too much. somewhere between 60-90 degrees is fine. Dont spend all your time trying to get it right. You are not growing to support your family, you are doing to get a few mushrooms and maybe a little side cash.

yeah what he said. Plus looking at the cakes every 5 minutes and checking gauges and temps isnt going to help. Just leave them alone for 4 days and if you do not see some pins or improvements then start asking question
