Wonderful! We have replaced the vague word 'spiritual' with yet another vague word 'interconnectedness'. That certainly clears things up.
I personally have no relationship with those horrid pincer bugs on Ceti Alpha 5 - even while meditating or eating a bowl of Frosted Mini-Wheats.

yah you have a ghastly meaningless monty python show going with not nearly enough math happenning.
spirituality is being able to see what is happenning and make it more beautiful
people use approximations in their choice of words to express that they also use proxies to represent the concept of Void/God/Energy etc. which in linear math is what we use ZERO and INFINITY for (placeholders for concepts that range beyond the rest of the series of objects being discussed - both zero and infinity function in expressions differently than other numbers, but math requires them to be complete).
different words please different folks on this spiritual quest, but it is usually about making things better as best you can.
struggling with the proxies is understandable, but you don't usually need proxies if you keep your life simple. trying to make a proxy or placeholder metaphor more concrete like other concepts is basically a waste of time.

To become totally immersed in the moment, and therefore exist in a state wherein there is no past or future. I think Ram Dass was right. The essence of spirituality is to "Be Here Now". By living totally in the moment, you become one with all of existence and all eternity, because time is just one eternal moment.
Words, particularly mine, will never be able to express spirituality properly. If spirituality could be explained in a concise manner, using words, it would have been done long ago and we would live in a very different world. The essence of spirituality is, I suppose, like everything else- whatever you make of it.
For me, it's the experience of true being, unconditonal, infinite spiritual love and the golden beam of the clear light. Naturally, though, this sounds like a bunch of crap to anyone who reads it- some things have to be experienced to be understood and just can't be explained.
-------------------- Disclaimer: If you have any kind of heart condition, my posts are not for you. You could literally die from reading the first couple of words in any one of them. Scroll down the page, live your life and prosper, but don't read my posts because your heart will probably explode. I am not joking.

By definition, SPIRITUALity is rooted in things which are SPIRITUAL.
A SPIRIT, by definition is intangible. You can't see it... you can't hold it...
ESSENCE means: The KEY INGREDIENTS which make something what it is.
Therefore, by definition, the ESSENCE of SPIRITUALity... the KEY INGREDIENTS of SPIRITUALity... have to be:
1. SOMETHING which DOES NOT REALLY EXIST in a TANGIBLE FORM...
and 2. The BELIEF IN IT.
Without BOTH ingredients, you would not have SPIRITUALity. You'd instead, have something else.

Because a word encompasses all things, does not make it vague. It makes it hard to comprehend. But that would take admittance to not understanding...
