the one i have now is crap and requires resetting every five minutes. i need something that can handle online gaming, web browsing and some wireless pirating at the same time. i'm looking for the $50 range if that is possible.

Go with a Linksys wireless router, specifically the WRT54G. Right around your price range, easy to setup, and good quality. I've had 3 of them over 5 years and they all still work like new. Good luck bud,

I agree with the WRT54G recommendation, it is a great router...if you put an open source firmware on it. For that I personally use DD-WRT, way better than linksys' firmware...

Yah if you put dd-wrt on the wrt54g you get a nice router with a lot of kick ass functions.

Ya, stay away from net gear. Fuck those guys.
-------------------- "To do right is to know what you want. Now when you are dissatisfied with yourself it's because you are after something you don't really want. What objects are you proposing to yourself? Are they the objects you really value? If they are not, you are cheating yourself. I don't meant that if you chose to pursue the objects you most value, you will attain them; of course not. Your experience will tell you that. But success in getting after much labor what you really don't care for is the bitterest and most ridiculous failure." -George Santayana
