Yea it's hella weird to think about that kinda shit, but I guess that's the point of life. To constantly change and evolve until you die.

Well, I feel a continuity when I think of my life chronologically, in terms of development. But if I skip a few years and think of myself, say, 10 years ago, without thinking of the transition in between, it's pretty strange how different I am now. I have become a combination of what I then dreamed of being as well as what I was too scared to admit I wanted to be.

Everything that is me is just conditioned ways of reacting to the world, for real. I am just empty space, it seems, and try not to think of myself as the same person as I ever was before this moment. I certainly haven't lived up to any of my childhood expectations for myself, but my values are steadily shifting away from worldliness.

“Strengthened by contemplation and study,
I will not fear my passions like a coward.
My body I will give to pleasures,
to diversions that I’ve dreamed of,
to the most daring erotic desires,
to the lustful impulses of my blood, without
any fear at all, for whenever I will—
and I will have the will, strengthened
as I’ll be with contemplation and study—
at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

When I look back it looks like a confused animal, one of billions.

Well yeah more skeptical, realistic, may be more cynical of people, that's been the change in my outlook.
