No pins yet. Has had temp around 70-75

Been about a week. The mych on top continues to try and colonize the ENTIRE surface with a very thick very bright white mych. I give it 8-14 hours of light a day Pretty small container so the humidity stays high and i have a lil mini power fan that i clean with lysol wait 15 minutes and wipe and then proceed to "fan" for a few seconds*
What else can i do to innitiate pinning and if you so desire i can get a picture.
Any help ASAP is welcome.. cause i wont beable to check the forums this weekend.

Patience. If they haven't pinned in another week then start to worry.

why is there dry spots with just straight verm in your casing?? Why is there dark spots with just stright peat?? You should have tried growing cakes first.

Buhahah this was a first "retarded' attempt by me. I now have 22 jars left.. had 2 contam.. and 6-7 jars of LC O_O with 1 contammed one.
I noticed it wasnt growing so well with the verm.. so decided.. Lets see if i can bring some nutrients to it. So i did.
Should i continue to lightly mist with such massive spots of myc?

you can pick them off, bring nutrients to it?? The caing layer should provide no nutrients

Looks suspicious... Have to think back to everything you did and what might be the cause.
I recently had some minor trouble with stalled pins and small stalled pins and was emotionally hurt by this
I checked the temps INSIDE my fruiter and wow... 65f!
I don't have a hygrometer (working on it lol) so I figured a little MORE humidity wouldn't hurt either...
Perlite and water with the H2O2..
All systems go now...
There are many different variables... winter is here and that was one of mines.. Retrace your steps and adjust accordingly. Best of luck

Im thinking... From what you just said.. possibly the temp. I THINK its at 75.. but i really have no clue. maybe ill find a way to test the temp and then realize.. that is probably the culprit.....
Any idea besides a heater to keep it nice and warmz

Yeah I had mine at 65 for a while because my outside thermometer was reading almost 76...
Put a new thermometer (digital) inside and CHILLS!!
Unfortunately, I had already got a pinset... so things are a little off kilter, but bulking up nicely..
You need a pinset... but it was about 10 days till I saw my first pins... Tiny guys too... strugglin, Now they're all happy and reaching for the skies...
It might not be, but I would have to say that it was for me..

just wait... even 65 should fruit. if it continues to colonize way to much try hitting up the fridge for a cold shock to halt growth and then put it in your fruiting area again. patience should be key aswell.

Nwerd. What did you do to heat them back up to 70's??? Leave them in a nice warm fuzzy place? Direct sun light. Its cold as ice and my closet is near back door which isnt sealed right. Nice 40 degree draft

leaving the container directly in front of sunshine will add an increased warmth... same as the greenhouse effects.

I bought a nifty $100 Vortex heater with a digital thermostat.. It's pretty much on the money...
I used to have a different space heater.. It was very unreliable, but iffin you don't have $100 bucks (which I sure as hell don't right now) Use a regular one, but you will have to keep you're eye on the temps.
40 draft is not good at all IMO, regardless of whether you got your thermostat set to 75...
Or do some studying of your house and find the warmest spots and utilize those... I read somewhere that on top of your fridge is a nice warm place... Look into it.
I keep mine at 77 now... I figured the strains I was workin with are from some temperate climates sooooo... They might enjoy the warmer humid climate rather than a cooler one... It's working for me now.. Besides I got some pans going too that like upper 70's to 80 so it's all working out.. Walk around with a thermometer and make sure the one you have is accurate. Hope that helps...

What all reasons would cause the death of the mycelium bunching up on top.
The pics that i posted the mych is how you say fluffin up but should i actually REcover it in order to help it?
The shits beginning to die and i have no idea why. its at around 70-75 degrees now and it just keeps looking a lil worse
