Re: Fields by Chicago suburbs?

Hello Mechanix, sorry to be the bearer of such bad news, but you wont be finding any worthwhile magicmushrooms around chicago.

For shrooms, you would be better off takeing a vacation some time to either the Seattle, Washington area, or the state of Florida.

You also have the option of purchaseing a spore print through one of the many internet sites available to you for growing them yourself.

On the brighter side of things, you should do a little research on Morel mushrooms. They grow in Illinois. They are edible mushrooms. And highly sought after.

Best wishes with that whole thing

Ah, that sucks now doesn't it. I think I'm going to order some spores from PF and try growing them myself, although this will have to be done in a dorm as I am entering college this fall. Hope there's enough room! Thanks for your help GreatOne

Would that be the Famous Marshall Fields you are talking about?

Hehehehe.

I was just kidding.

Listen, there are psilocybine contining mushrooms in Illinois, In fact Pluteus salicinus was discovered in Illinois.

The gills on Pluteus are pinkish. And the mushrooms becomes a very velvety bluish color.

But Like GGreatOne234 said, it is easier to visit Seattle or Florida for shrooms.

WE have 18 varieties here in the Pacific Northwest region by Pugot Sound.
