They call this Vermiculite?
    #7698577 - 11/30/07 11:52 AM (16 years, 4 months ago)

I opened a recentley purchased bag of StaGreen Verm that I bought at Lowes a week ago, and it appears to be a mixture of potting soil and verm...  :mad2:  WTF?
Anyone else have this happen to them?

I have seen that mixture at Home Depot, and didn't get it because of appearance.

Orchard Supply Hardware has lots of verm, at low prices.

Luckily, I had a partial bag that I was able to use, but the ironic thing is that it was the exact same brand, size, bag, from the same store, only one I bought last year....

I should take it back and tell the manager that he ripped me off with a sack of Schwag Verm.

I bought a bag of fine verm the other day from my local feed store... Got home, dumped it out only to find it was chunky.... When I say chunkey smallest piece was a marble and largest was a golf ball....

Took it back and got a free bag on the house

Don't scare me man, I just bought one of those 4CU/FT bags online and it said medium; the other was coarse.. I hope it's not too big, I'm used to working with fine verm, medium should still be ok, I hate not seeing what it looks like beforehand when buying shit online!
