This isnt really hunting related but people that hunt in the bay would hopefully know the answer better then anyone.
Do you guys notice if ps cyanescens mycelium is thinner/less hardy then ps cyanofib/friscosas/cyclone/unknown.
I have found a massive mycelium web nearby and it has a few of what seem to be ps cyans growing from one side but it is over 20 feet wide. I am hoping this thing is all cyans but then mycelium seems thin and the wood chips arent being held together as strongly as friscosa mycelium would be. Here are some pics of my concerns I think I know what these are

And I hope that these arent producing the other mycelium.

Here is the mycelium near those intruders

IMHO it's the other way around...
i don't know about hardiness per se, but the cyanescen mycelium at my patch is a lot more visible and seems to be more "webby" than the suspected fricosa mycelium nearby.
time will reveal all...

You could try bruising the mycelium and see if it turns cyan.
Also the mycelium will have the same taste as the mushroom, you might be able to taste or smell a bit and notice what it is.
There will be rhizomorphic and cottony substrains of the same species all growing together in nature, just to make things more complicated.

I know wood lovers in general have a heartier. Usually producing fat rhizos. This stuff have good looking rhizos, its not cottony, but they are not the fat paper clip thick rhizos. They are more like the thickness of a staple
