Of course, you should prepare for every trip... whether that be getting out the glow sticks, or favorite CD to reading up and meditating for your journey...

For a large trip you want to get the set and setting just right, you want to have the right mix of people around you, or none if you choose. Don't smoke the weed before you dose, you'll become paranoid on the trip. You may smoke after the peak, and this may bring you back up slightly... No eating for 12 hours before hand (at the very least) and only drink water during that time, and not 3 hours before take-off. Have a nice trip, see you next fall.

Apparently tuna (brain food) is good to eat 3-4 hours before a trip. You'll want to keep your stomach relativitly empty but still comfortable. If you want to smoke pot make sure you do it after the peak. Pot is very good to smoke when you start coming down just a little.
