friction i'd assume
blood is constantly flowing, stomach digesting, all the other organs doing their thing
but i dunno for sure

friction is a nearly insignificant part of it it's mostly exothermic metabolic reactions. exothermic reactions give off heat to the surrounding system. many chemical bonds release energy when they are broken down into their building blocks, and this is where the heat comes from.

The body uses energy, ATP(its been a while since bio) to power itself. You get this energy from foods. Your body has to maintain a temperature, pH level, and much more to stay at 'homeostasis.'

Yeah. The world of biology is fucking ridiculous. Billions of things happening at a cellular level every second, and every fraction of a second. Messengers flying around, receptors grabbing them, entire cascades of chemical reactions set off by one chemical trigger, thru multiple parts of the body. it's just mind boggling. Same goes with chemistry, physics...etc, it's all so nuts

I love science...I got bored with everything else to learn because I figured I have nothing more to learn. I mean I could learn a new word here or there but i don't care much for words.

Yeah, it's funny. This is what goes on inside your mitochondria, which are organelles in each cell that make energy.

The atp synthase mechanism literally rotates as H+ ions go thru it, making adenosediphosphate into adenosetriphosphate which can then be used for energy.
Your body uses other ways to generate energy, too. but it's cool to know this stuff is happening inside you every second. your body even has entire complex mechanisms to repair your dna, to proofread your dna, to copy your dna, and it all happens in fractions of a second. little proteins zipping down your dna strands, like trains on a track, doing maintenance. so cool.

If it's worth it to you, do it. Even if it means you have to take some summer courses or an extra semester or two. That part's up to you though. I added on an extra year of college thru transferring and completely switching majors. But it's worth it, because being forced to do something you don't want to do is miserable.

This is the only good answer.
