Is it possible to fruit a fully colonized composted Hpoo pan without applying the casing layer? If I just put it in the FC would it fruit?

I suppose it may be possible. But i would imagine you would have a poor pinset.
neer 100% humidity at the surface of the substrate is essential for good even pinset, without the casing layer i doubt that you could maintain that amount of moisture without soaking the substrates from far too much humidity.
I dont do bulks yet, so i really cant say for sure if its posisble, i just know what i have said above about casing layers.
Some substrates dont generaly do too well without casings
