Bad news!!!
approx. 60h after mixing poo/straw/spawn I've got one of my 3 trays contaminated. Here are two pics of this tray, we can see that some alfalfa has germinated, maybe I should have removed every piece of that before pasteurizing my straw. I just the 2 other will colonize properly but I'm very skeptical because the mycelium in my clear container looks like it did not even grew.

That's awfully soon for trichoderma to show up in pasteurized substrate unless your spawn was already contaminated. I can't tell from the low light picture if that's trich or not, but it does seem to be mold. I'll move this to the contamination forum. RR

Thx RR
Sorry for posting it in here, I'm a bit furious right now so.... I may have a clue for the trich showing up so fast. I'm using a ceramic heater to rise the temp. in my incubator and this contaminated tray was the closest to the heater. Maybe the higher temp promoted trich germination?

Hummm...I looked at the description of the cobweb mold and I think it's more that than trich. The alumium had no holes pokes for the first 24 h maybe humidity went to high.. if you have an idea please tell so I could do better next time.

Is that spot green or grey? I can't tell from the picture. Surf up and down the posts for a few pages back in this forum. There's lots of good pictures of various molds. RR
