my jars are coming up to not being 100% colonized but looking 100% colonizes and yes i will leave them another week or so once they look colonized but what i what to no is why the growth of that last bit of mycelium seems to slowing down heaps... its irritating as up until now they wer going strong but all of a sudden growth seems to have slowed down in all jars... its probably going to end up taking alot longer at this rate... by the way the temps are still the sane... 80 degrees so nothings changed there... has anyone got any ideas as to why its taking so long now?? many thanx shroomhead07

i'm not a pro at this but i think its cause the myc used up most of the air in the jar. like theres alot of co2 build up due to all the other myc in there.

That pretty normal for it to slow down slightly as it gets near 100%, if its slowed down drasticaly, your substrate might have packed down a little, and there may be a high co2 build.
You could try flipping your jars upside, it may help. It may not.

flipping jars doesn't help much. if you have taped jar lid holes remove tape for some air.
