I just found a lone large subb yesterday. It's still getting in the mid 60s during the day, so the season is just a bit slower.
I need to get some copes... been passing pastures all week, but can't go looking. frowny face.

I found .3 grams of dried cubes last Friday, south of Houston. Didn't get to really look though, but the stems did seem stronger and the bluing! Man, they blued so easy and so vivid!

Yes, we need a nice soaking! The past rain has been satisfactory. I went and road my bike over to my man-made, outdoor patch the other day, only to find four cubes. They were very thick and fat; however, they were lacking in heigth. The conditions just aren't optimal right now, but soon, I imagine things will change. I imagine that the patch has been fruiting quite a bit, but I've just been too lazy to check.

wuz up shroomers! I just got me some shrooms from some fields in east houston... a bunch of cubes and a few copes! I read some where that cold weather stunts the growth on the cubes, and so its true... stalks are fat meaty but no longer than 3 inches.

I found some stinky Inky caps South of Amarillo a couple months back. Haven't found any actives though. How far up North do you think I can find them?

Ive heard / read about reports of cubes in Oklahoma to as far north as KC- but from my experience I wouldnt really expect Any actives to be found around your area. Good luck though, keep looking

not at this time of year, anyway. Cubes north of say, Austin would be a summer thing if at all. You get too much cold too soon up there to support them past early fall.
