This is my second pint cake of B , are the ready to pick or should I wait? Some have already dropped spores, but havent made a mess in the chamber. Also there is a small patch of black goo on one of the larger shrooms, is this OK? It was not there last night, and none of the caps were open last night.

The "black goo" is probably spores that have dropped on it from another cap.
Is this a BRF flour cake? If so, that is definitely a good flush for a cake.

hello again, thanks for all the compliments. yes its a BRF cake, but not the second flush...its the cakes first flush, just the second flush that ive had so far. so I have two cakes starting out on there second flushes now, and the rest havent had a pinset...its probably been 3 weeks...could it be the temp? i know most of the time its around 58 degrees...but the other cakes did well. its a PMP with perlite and I have tons of holes, fishtank airpump and 2 bubble wands in there. the perlite is a bit dry. should I resoak it?

I remember reading something about giving the cake a rest before prepping it for another flush but i don't recall what that involved.
Edit: i just read your question again and I think you want to now why the other cakes havent had their 1st flushes yet.. That's interesting, I'd say it could be related to the temp, but it worked for the others, so can't really say. Maybe switch spots? The spot where the other cakes now might not have good FEA, that's the only solution I could come up with...

Funny, the two cakes that flushed so well were right above were the airline met the long bubblewand...maybe all the air is being released there and is not being properly distributed along the entire length of the wand, resulting in poor FAE underneath all the other cakes, which are barely if at all pinning. Maybe i need to make an effort to fan/spray more often.

Can you describe how you have the air going into the tub a little more? I'm working on a contraption of my own and will soon be testing it out and see if it works ok.. I'm basically using a TiT as a FC as well and will provide fresh air by using a 60 gal pump and 8 airstones placed under the perlite and strategically place the cakes around the airstones for max FEA. I will also drill holes on the lid so the air can circulate, hopefully this will create good air exchange while disbursing any CO2 that might build up towards the bottom... The only thing I'm worried about is having it run 24/7 which might dry the perlite or the cakes, so i might eventually have to get a timer and set it to go on once every couple of hours or something...
Anyway, didn't mean to hijack your thread, if you have any pics of your setup, please post..

The FC is a clear rubbermaid tote, I believe 18 gallons, There are holes drilled on all 6 sides, probably around 100 alltogether. There is only about 2-3" of perlite at the bottom. A fishtank airpump, im not sure of the rating but it's small, is connected to two airlines that enter the chamber, each connecting to a 12" long stone under the perlite bed. Currently resting inside are 8 half pint PF cakes of B+, and only 2 of my original 5 pint sized cakes of B+. The other three were tossed because of contamination. But those two cakes flushed nicely, leaving me with 1/2oz dried together for just their first flush. Oh, and I spray heavily and fan once per day, the light is on for about 8 hours a day and the temp floats around 60-68 degrees.
The perlite bed feels like its dried out, should it feel moist? Should I empty it out and redo it with a deeper bed? I don't have a humidity gauge so I'm not sure what the humidity is.
