Brain Damage
    #7684959 - 11/27/07 08:34 AM (16 years, 2 months ago)

i know its possible to repair the body and my health, but what about my mind? Ive killed a lot of brain cells and became quite the retard. lets say everyone starts off with 100%, brain wise, and after doing so much shit or random shit you lose percentage. right now I'm sitting at 45%. what can i do to bring this percentage up?

That sounds pretty serious, if you really feel that way please visit a doctor and have checked out if you really have brain damage. If that's the case you won't go back to 100%, ever.. but it can still improve a little. It might also improve somewhat (or a lot) when you stop using drugs and let your brain have it's natural chemical course.

well maybe 45% is stretching it just a little. i mean if it was that bad then i don't think i could post or really respond. to be more realistic i guess i would say 65%-70%. not much better but.... i just feel real slow, i get confused real easy, i just don't feel all that bright or sharp anymore.

I'd say your brain could definitely repair itself over time. Try doing those things that you said you'd do in your other thread that you posted.

Make sure you're getting enough EFA (essential fatty acids) as they're important for brain health... fish oil, and I'd also recommend chlorella or evening primose oil as they contain a certain fatty acid (GLA) that is found in mother's breast milk and plays a key role in a baby's brain development, and these are two of the very few natural sources for GLA.

Start doing things that will stimulate your brain as well. Puzzles, reading, the like... Make sure you're getting enough sleep as well.

good luck!

Do some brain exercises like Sudoku. I've seen Nintendo DS's (the handheld system) with these games the Japanese are developing that are specifically made for situtations like this, for the young, and for the old. It gives you a score and tests you on different types of skills. You can track your progress, etc.

Take vitamins and all that good stuff. Exercise. Meditate.

geez man. when you did that stuff, did you realize it was bad for you?

you can recover some, the best way to do this is to remain drug free and eat well.

*pot & psychedelics are ok, just lay off everything else.
