Preparing for First Trip

I'm growing some P. cubensis right now, and when I harvest, I intend to sample the fruits of my labor. This will be my first psychedelic experience though. My plan now is to trip with a veteran friend, and have another friend there as a control to call 911 in necessary and keep me from leaving my home.
Is this overthinking things? I would hate for my first time to end up shitty.

it won't be. don't overthink things. and DON'T take too much. if you take about 25 grams fresh you'll have the timea your life.
2 things to remember
it's only a drug
you are the master of it, you made it, you took it, it works for you.

calling 911 is only asking for shit to get worst honestly uess you are hurting yourself or others. there is nothing that can be solved simply by just sitting.
now this may seem simple but somtimes it is borderline inpossible. trust your freind. trust your mind. trust the universe. and let go

The big key is not taking too much. Make sure to check the dosage calculator, and go for a level 2-3 trip. Also go in with a good frame of mind. If you are anticipating things to go well, then there is a better chance they will go well.

If you weigh about 150-200, just take about 25-30g wet. Try not to eat ~5 hours before, you will just be lessening the trip more than you should. With that dose, you will not be messed up enough to do anything stupid. You won't get intense hallucinations, but this shouldn't be the reason to trip as your first time. Besides, the hallucinations aren't as good as what you're really looking for-the change in state of mind, which you can achieve at the said dose.

Isn't it possible to dry the mushrooms with a fan? That would seem more economical to me instead of taking them fresh.

Notapillow is right. Unless you are endangering yourself or others, there is no need to call 911. Just relax and enjoy the ride.

More economical? In what way? Eating 30g of fresh cubes is basically the same as eating 3g dry. Just drying the mushrooms isnt going to magically give you more weight. It isnt at all necessary to dry them, unless he isnt planning on eating them for a while.

Drying mushrooms will ensure all the Psilocin is oxidized. Although this accounts for a small amount of the active alkaloids, they are still alkaloids. If you keep fresh mushrooms away from oxygen, they will be more potent than dry ones (if they don't rot).

Well I just thought in terms of nausea. I have the impression that the only reason people vomit (sometimes) is because they eat so many fresh shrooms instead of a few dried shrooms. But then again correct me if I'm wrong; after all I am softcore

Nausea comes from shrooms regardless of whether they are fresh or dried.

911 cannot help you in that situation.
Keep the dose low, don't panic.
