I read it several days ago and have no link. It is a paraphrase from memory and not an exact quote (hence no quotation marks), but the meaning was not changed.
The blogger was saying it is OK to rip on a religion that she despises, and OK for an atheist to rip on Islam, but despicable if an atheist rips on Christianity.
Does this sound so far-fetched in your experience that you will be incredulous without a link?

There was no deceit, but bully for you.
From another Christian website: LINK
A new poll by a pro-family group found that an overwhelming number of American respondents have unfavorable views on Islam.
The American Family Association is currently polling Americans on their opinion of Islam as more Americans are converting to be Muslims. The growth of Islam in America is "concerning for a great many people," said Randy Sharp, director of special projects for AFA, according to Agape Press.
AFA thus released the poll to give Americans from all walks of life the opportunity to share their opinion on the matter. And Sharp insisted that the poll is not "Christianized" or just for the Christian religion.
According to the poll, the majority of respondents do not consider Islam to be a peaceful religion or a tolerant religion. And most do not believe America would be a better country if it were a Muslim country.
The majority of respondents also said "no" to placing equal emphasis on the Koran and the Bible in America.

As a Christian who was not raised anywhere near the church, thank God, literally, I always go back to the book of Matthew where Christ tells the Pharisees that they "have made the Word of God useless due to the sake of your tradition".
One of the main problems (maybe THE problem) facing Christianity and the US today, is that we continue to hold on to customs, beliefs, ceremonies, wars, people etc. that are obviously hurting our cause.
The power of tradition is a POWERFUL (and to me unexplainable) thing.

I always thought the Pharisees were an interesting parallel with many of today's most outspoken "Christians."

I really can't stand that shit about the discrepancies of Jews, Christs and Moslems anymore. Everyone who tries to separate them and seed war from one to another of them is totally fucked up in the head and should read their most original and unbiased text and then they finally can see, it's about the SAME damned GOD ! If it is one GOD versus another GOD, okay, we can talk, but this same GOD is better then the same YOUR GOD is so extreme bullshit and it only reflects the general ego-shit which goes around in the heads of most human apes these days. I could go on forever from here... Sickening.
Just my opinion.
