If you grow cubensis with normal flour instead of brown rice flower they are not potent. Cant say though if it contains no actives, i just know that cubes grown from normal flowr grows non potent fruits

If you cook them hot enough it might reduce the active content enough, plus if used as a garnish i doubt that you would have enough shroom in the food to have much effect.

I couldnt imagine using cubes in food, have tried a few things and the cube taste is so pungent that it overpowers any other flavour, even the smell makes something else your eating taste like a damn cube!

This has the potential to go terribly wrong. Or right. Depending on how you look at it. Imagine explaining to a room full of dinner party guests that you thought they were inactive.

I can see it all now...
"Here we go, sorry about the wait guys, I was just finishing the special garnish - I grew them myself!"
*Various murmers of appraisal, pleased looks all round*
*Utterances of pleasure upon tasting, compliments to the chef*
[30 MINUTES LATER]
"Wooooop-woopwoopwoopwoopwoop, wooooop-woopwoopwoopwoopwoop!"
*Guests performing Homer-esque running in circles on ground routine, or sitting around with varied looks of ecstacy on their faces*
Hahahaha....DO IT!

growing inActive cubes is easy. first you must realize its impossible, then you will have to move on to gourmet mushrooms which taste way better and are way better for the body. then you grow your gourmet mushrooms, make your damn garnish, and forget bout this thread cletud.

Cubensis produces psilocybin and psilocin. There are other species of PSILOCYBE that aren't active... but there are no known subspecies of cubensis that are inactive.
